Wesser Bald is a summit in the Nantahala National Forest in Macon County, North Carolina, sitting on the Appalachian Trail between the Little Tennessee and Nantahala river valleys. A former fire lookout was rebuilt as an open observation deck, which gives hikers wide views across the surrounding mountains and the Nantahala Gorge area.
