Wagon Rd Gap
Haywood County, NC
Wagon Road Gap is a mountain gap in Haywood County crossed by the Blue Ridge Parkway near milepost 412, at an elevation of roughly 4,550 feet. Named for a historic wagon road that climbed over the ridge, the gap anchors a Parkway overlook and connects to the Mountains-to-Sea Trail. The surrounding section was among the first stretches of the Parkway built south of Asheville.
