The Pinnacle
Jackson County, NC
The Pinnacle is a prominent summit in Jackson County's Pinnacle Park above Sylva, reaching roughly 5,000 feet. A strenuous trail follows an old logging road to a rocky overlook with panoramic views of the surrounding valley and ridgelines. It is one of the area's better-known day hikes.
