Sleepy Gap is a low gap along the Blue Ridge Parkway south of Asheville in Buncombe County. Its parking area serves as a trailhead for the Mountains-to-Sea / Shut-In Trail on the south side of the Bent Creek area, with a roadside view and access to hiking toward Walnut Cove and Grassy Knob.
