Schoolhouse Falls is the best-known waterfall in the Panthertown Valley backcountry area of Jackson County, within Nantahala National Forest near Cashiers. A modest but scenic drop, it feeds a large pool popular for wading and is reached by a short hike, with trails maintained by the Friends of Panthertown.
