Pigeon Gap

Pigeon Gap is a low pass through Waynesville Mountain in Haywood County, near Waynesville. A spring at the gap historically watered travelers and horses crossing between Bethel and Waynesville in the 1800s, and the spot was long used for community picnics and reunions.
