Oconaluftee River Trail

Cherokee;ᏣᎳᎩ, NC

The Oconaluftee River Trail is a flat, graveled riverside path in Great Smoky Mountains National Park running between the Oconaluftee Visitor Center and the town of Cherokee, North Carolina. It is one of only two trails in the park that allow leashed pets and bicycles, and it passes through low-elevation hardwood forest known for elk and wildflowers.
