Lake Powhatan

Lake Powhatan is a small recreation lake in the Bent Creek area of the Pisgah National Forest, southwest of Asheville in Buncombe County. Surrounded by a campground with a swimming beach and fishing pier, it sits at the center of the Bent Creek Experimental Forest and connects to a popular network of hiking and mountain biking trails.
