Lake Julian is a reservoir in southern Buncombe County, North Carolina, near Arden and Asheville, built in the 1960s and originally used to cool a nearby power plant. Today the surrounding Lake Julian Park is a popular spot for fishing, paddleboating, picnicking, and disc golf.
