The Ivestor Gap Trail is a popular route into the Shining Rock Wilderness of Pisgah National Forest in Haywood County. Beginning near the Black Balsam area, it follows an old roadbed with open views toward Shining Rock and connects to the Art Loeb Trail, making for scenic loop hikes across the high grassy balds.
