Graybeard Mountain

Graybeard Mountain is a high summit above Montreat in eastern Buncombe County, in the Swannanoa Valley area of the Black Mountains region. Sitting on the eastern continental divide, it is one of the higher peaks in the Blue Ridge and is reached by a long, challenging out-and-back trail that passes a small waterfall.
