East Fork Pigeon River

Big East Fork, NC

The East Fork of the Pigeon River flows through the Shining Rock Wilderness in Haywood County, between Brevard and Waynesville. It is a freestone stream managed as Wild Trout Waters and is a recognized destination for wild rainbow, brown, and brook trout fishing, accessed in part via the Big East Fork Trail off Highway 276.
