Cullasaja River

The Cullasaja River runs through the Cullasaja Gorge between Franklin and Highlands in Macon County, North Carolina, within the Nantahala National Forest. The gorge is famous for a string of waterfalls including Cullasaja Falls, Dry Falls, and Bridal Veil Falls, all viewable along the scenic US 64 corridor known as the Mountain Waters Scenic Byway. It is one of the most visited waterfall stretches in the region.
