Craggy Flats
Buncombe County, NC
Craggy Flats is a high-elevation rhododendron flat in the Great Craggy Mountains of Buncombe County, reached along the Craggy Gardens Trail off the Blue Ridge Parkway near Asheville. In June the area bursts into bloom with Catawba rhododendron, drawing visitors for one of the most spectacular wildflower displays along the Parkway.
