Cowee Bald

Cowee Bald is the most prominent peak of the Cowee Mountains, straddling Jackson and Macon counties in the Nantahala National Forest of western North Carolina. The summit carries a fire tower and is reached by forest road and a short trail, with long views over the Tuckasegee River valley and toward the Great Smoky Mountains.
