Bent Creek is a recreation area in the Pisgah National Forest in Buncombe County, just south of Asheville and adjacent to the NC Arboretum and Blue Ridge Parkway. It is known for its extensive network of mountain biking and hiking trails, the adjoining Lake Powhatan Recreation Area, and trout-stocked waters.
