Bear Creek Lake

Bear Creek Lake is a roughly 476-acre reservoir in Jackson County, the largest of the lakes built by Nantahala Power & Light in the early 1950s and now part of the Bear Lake Reserve area. It is a recognized recreation destination for paddling, boating, and fishing for bass, crappie, and catfish.
