Albert Mountain

Albert Mountain is a summit in the Nantahala National Forest in Macon County, North Carolina, crossed by the Appalachian Trail. Its restored steel fire lookout tower, on the National Historic Lookout Register, offers wide views of the Nantahala Mountains and the Little Tennessee River valley. The summit is a well-known landmark for AT thru-hikers, falling near the symbolic 100-mile point from Springer Mountain.
